Peruvian born Cecilia Noel...direct descendant of Cacique-Sacha, one of the last chiefs of the Incan Empire...began performing music professionally at the age of eight and spent most of her adolesent years studying violin, piano and conducting at top music schools in Argentina and Germany. Musically having gone through the school of Beatles, Jazz and Brazilian Cecilia tells us that she feels a strong soul connection in her music to her Incan ancestors and the Afro-Peruvian Folklore and Afro-Cuban Culture that she grew up with along the Coast of Perú. This background of style and ancestery "mixing my own recipes", has brought to the music industry a whole new genre, Salsoul.
Writing her music from deep personal experiences Cecilia who feels that music is her very source of life explaines, "The spirit of my Mother gets in me when I play the piano. I don't know where it comes from, all the notes and harmonies, I still feel is all magical, a miracle, a frequency that connects with me from the Universe. I never take it for granted, I feel blessed when I can sing and dance and when I look at my Band and see their smiling faces."
